Elena: I caught her! She tried to drop baby Lily! Mark: What did you just do,

When the heavily damaged SUV finally arrived safely back at the secure estate, Mark was already running frantically down the grand marble steps.

He pulled Elena and Lily out of the shattered back seat, holding them so tightly that his arms completely trembled.

David stepped out of the driver's seat, pressing a blood-soaked rag tightly against his injured shoulder.

"Julian just crossed a massive line, Mark. He tried to murder your family in broad daylight," David reported, his voice filled with an icy, undeniable rage.

Mark looked at the dangerous bullet holes completely riddling the side of the vehicle, his own fury finally reaching an absolute boiling point.

"We are not waiting for the federal investigators anymore, David. We are ending this tonight," Mark declared fiercely.

Elena quickly grabbed her encrypted tablet, knowing exactly how they were going to lure Julian out of his secure penthouse.

"I am going to transfer the exact file containing his illegal banking records to an unsecured server," Elena planned brilliantly.

"Julian monitors our network. The second he sees the file, he will panic and try to flee the country with his remaining stolen funds," she added quickly.

David nodded in total agreement, completely ignoring the painful wound on his shoulder as he loaded his heavy tactical shotgun.
