Chapter 12 - Thunder, Fire, and the Wrath of Dominic Moretti

The raid on the Quincy shipyard was not a negotiation; it was an execution.

At 10:45 AM, three black SUVs smashed through the rusted corrugated gates of Warehouse 4. Flashbang grenades turned the interior into blinding white light and deafening thunder.

Before Valenti’s men could raise their weapons, Dominic’s strike team moved in with lethal precision.

Gunfire echoed off the steel rafters. Dominic was at the front of the assault, moving with relentless fury. Every enemy who stepped into his path fell instantly. He fought not like a man defending business, but like a demon reclaiming his stolen soul.

Inside the back office, Valenti panicked. He grabbed Chloe by her hair, pulling her to her feet and pressing the barrel of a revolver against her temple.

“Hold your fire!” Valenti screamed as the office door was kicked off its hinges.

Dominic stepped through the doorway. His face was covered in soot and blood, his eyes locked entirely on Chloe. When he saw the bruise on her cheek, a muscle in his jaw twitched with terrifying intensity.

“Let her go, Salvatore,” Dominic said, his voice terrifyingly quiet.

“Drop your weapon, Dominic, or her brains decorate this wall!” Valenti shrieked, his hand shaking violently against the gun.

Chloe looked at Dominic. She saw the pain in his eyes, but she also saw his absolute determination.

“Don't drop it, Dominic!” Chloe shouted.

In that split second of distraction, Chloe slammed the back of her head hard into Valenti’s nose.

The cartel boss cried out in pain, his grip slipping as blood gushed from his nostrils. Dominic moved like lightning. He stepped forward, grabbed Valenti’s wrist, and twisted it with a sickening snap, disarming him instantly.

Dominic drove his fist into Valenti’s face, knocking the older man to the floor, then stood over him, pressing his heavy combat boot against Valenti’s chest.

“No... please, Dominic... have mercy...” Valenti whimpered, clutching his broken wrist.

Dominic looked down at him without a shred of pity.

“You touched Chloe,” Dominic whispered. “There is no mercy in this world for you.”

Dominic fired three shots into Valenti’s chest, ending the war for Boston once and for all.
