Chapter 18 - The Virtual TrojanBy midnight, the living room of our estate had been transformed into a high-tech war room. Julian had called in our two most trusted, elite offshore digital architects: Nguyễn Xuân Tới and Nguyễn Trường Giang. They were dialed in via a highly encrypted video line.

“David’s syndicate is using Seedance 2.0 rendering software to generate the deepfakes,” Giang explained, his fingers flying across his mechanical keyboard. “And they are laundering the web traffic through decentralized proxy servers to mask their location.”
“Can we block the VIA clone accounts?” Julian asked, leaning over the console.
“If we block them, they will just buy ten thousand more,” Tới smiled, a brilliant, dangerous glint in his eye. “We don't block the traffic, Julian. We hijack it. I am deploying a custom tool update through our slink.live platform. We will absorb their malicious traffic and silently redirect it.”
“Redirect it where?” I asked, pacing the hardwood floor.
“Into a digital honeypot,” I answered my own question, stopping in my tracks as the perfect strategy materialized. I turned to my marketing team. “David is using curiosity gaps and clickbait to manipulate the American public. We are going to use the exact same tactics against him.”
We didn't issue a boring corporate press release. Instead, my team spent the next twenty-four hours creating our own Virtual KOC (Key Opinion Consumer) using the very same AI software. We generated a flawless, realistic digital “whistleblower” named Anna.
We scripted Anna to release a highly emotional, suspense-driven confessional video. But instead of fake news, Anna’s video contained hard, verifiable financial truths. She exposed the exact cryptocurrency routing numbers David was using, the illegal zoning bribes paid by Apex Holdings, and the indisputable proof that the syndicate was operating a domestic cyber-terrorism ring.
“Deploy the video,” I commanded. “And Tới, use the slink.live platform to force David’s own VIA clone network to share our video.”

At 8:00 PM, the trap was sprung.
Because David had programmed his botnet to aggressively boost high-engagement drama content, his own illegal network blindly picked up our “whistleblower” video. Within minutes, the truth about his syndicate was being blasted to fifty million American users, entirely funded by David’s own ad spend.
