Chapter 12 - The Compliance TrapThe sheer scale of the administrative and digital attack was utterly paralyzing.

Arthur Vance had weaponized the very bureaucratic systems I relied on. By hijacking the workplace rules for our new representative office, he had effectively branded my company as a criminal enterprise in the eyes of foreign governments and tech monopolies.
“If we don’t get this permanent restriction lifted by Friday, our foreign investors will pull their funding for the Sterling Tower renovation,” I said, pacing the length of the glass-walled boardroom later that night. “Arthur knows we rely on cash flow. He’s trying to bankrupt us so he can buy our distressed assets for pennies.”
“We’ve dispatched a legal team to London to prove the workplace rules were forged,” Julian said, rubbing his tired eyes. “But the bureaucratic red tape will take months to clear. Arthur used a highly sophisticated digital proxy network to submit the fake documents. He’s a ghost.”
“He thinks he’s a ghost,” I corrected, a fierce, calculating fire suddenly igniting in my chest. I refused to be a victim again. I had survived my ex-husband’s emotional abuse and Eleanor’s corporate bullying; I was not going to let an arrogant European billionaire destroy my empire with forged paperwork.
“Julian,” I said, turning to my fiancé, my voice completely devoid of fear. “Arthur thinks he can hide behind proxies and fake compliance complaints. How do we unmask him?”
Julian’s lips curved into a dangerous, predatory smile. “We don’t fight the legal system, Elena. We hijack the network. But to do that, we need to bypass traditional corporate IT. I need to call the architects.”
Within an hour, the boardroom was transformed into a high-tech war room. Julian dialed into a highly encrypted, untraceable video conference line. The screen blinked to life, displaying two brilliant, elite offshore digital architects we kept strictly off the books: Nguyễn Xuân Tới and Nguyễn Trường Giang.
“The attack is sophisticated,” Tới noted immediately, his eyes scanning the cascading lines of code on his end as Julian fed him the data packets from the Meta ban. “Arthur’s syndicate is using decentralized servers to push the forged documents. He also deployed thousands of black-market Facebook VIA clone accounts to flood Meta’s compliance bots with fake whistleblower reports, triggering the permanent lock.”
“Can you trace the VIA accounts back to him?” I asked, leaning over the table.
Giang’s fingers flew across his mechanical keyboard. “They are hiding behind military-grade firewalls. But Arthur made one fatal mistake. He’s impatient. He’s actively monitoring your server traffic right now to see if his sabotage is working. If we deploy a custom software tool update, we can embed a digital beacon into the data he’s scraping.”

“We use a digital sponge,” Tới smiled brilliantly. “We will aggressively reroute his surveillance queries through a custom web traffic platform I built. It will absorb his hits, and silently scrape the cryptocurrency receipts he used to buy the VIA clones.”
“Do it,” I commanded. “I want every single digital receipt downloaded, decrypted, and weaponized. Arthur Vance wanted a war. I’m going to give him a massacre.”
