Chapter 6 - Freezing the Empire: The Midnight Raid on Sapphire Holdings

At 11:00 p.m. that same night, while Harrison was in his study frantically trying to execute emergency wire transfers to his offshore shell companies, Diane Foster was standing inside the federal courthouse with an emergency ex-parte motion.
Judge Evelyn Martinez, a notoriously incorruptible senior federal judge known for dismantling white-collar syndicates, reviewed the mountain of evidence Diane placed before her.
On the judge's mahogany desk lay the forensic bank trails, the surveillance footage of Harrison and Natasha boasting about laundering money and staging a false psychiatric commitment of a pregnant woman, and the high-resolution photographs of Arthur Blake’s private syndicate ledger.
“This is an open-and-shut case of grand larceny, interstate wire fraud, and criminal conspiracy to commit civil rights violations,” Judge Martinez stated, her pen scratching across the legal orders with thunderous finality.
The judge stamped three separate federal orders:
An immediate, nationwide asset freeze on all bank accounts, investment portfolios, and real estate assets held by Harrison Blake, Natasha Chin, and Sapphire Holdings LLC.
A temporary restraining and seizure order granting Simone Blake sole administrative authority over Blake Enterprises' operational accounts as the primary legal fiduciary.
Federal search and seizure warrants for the Sapphire Holdings penthouse on 4th and Elm and Harrison Blake’s private executive suite at Blake Tower.
At 1:30 a.m., federal marshals and forensic digital investigators swept into the penthouse on 4th and Elm.
Natasha, who had returned to the penthouse after dinner, opened the door in her silk bathrobe only to be met by six armed federal agents and a lead investigator holding a federal seizure warrant.
“Natasha Chin?” the lead agent announced, stepping past her into the living room. “We have a federal warrant for the seizure of all electronic devices, financial records, safe deposit keys, and luxury assets associated with Sapphire Holdings LLC. Step away from the desk and keep your hands visible.”
“What? This is private property!” Natasha screamed, her voice cracking with terror. “You can’t do this! Do you know who Harrison Blake is? His family owns this city!”
“Harrison Blake’s accounts were frozen twenty minutes ago, ma’am,” the agent replied coldly, snapping evidence seals across her laptop and safe. “And according to the federal court order signed by Judge Martinez, this property is now under the custodial management of Simone Blake.”
At the Blake Estate, Harrison was sitting at his computer terminal, watching his offshore transfer screens flash in bright, blinding crimson:
TRANSACTION DECLINED: ASSETS FROZEN BY ORDER OF U.S. DISTRICT COURT.
ACCESS REVOKED: CREDENTIALS INVALIDATED.
Harrison slammed his fists onto his mahogany desk, knocking over his scotch glass. “What the hell is happening?!”
He grabbed his phone and dialed his high-priced corporate lawyer, Richard Sterling.
“Sterling! My accounts are locked! Fix it right now!” Harrison roared into the phone.
“Harrison... it’s over,” Sterling’s trembling voice came through the speaker. “Diane Foster just served us with a federal injunction and a corporate receiver order. Simone executed the Clause 22 Infidelity Addendum in your father’s prenuptial agreement. The board of directors held an emergency midnight digital vote thirty minutes ago. You have been stripped of your CEO title and your voting shares. Simone is now the majority shareholder of Blake Enterprises.”

Harrison’s phone slipped from his fingers, clattering onto the Persian rug.
The room began to spin. For the first time in his pampered, arrogant life, Harrison Blake felt the icy grip of absolute, paralyzing terror.
