Chapter 11 - Rebuilding Aurelia Systems

With the criminals in custody, I turned my full energy toward restoring Aurelia Systems to greatness.

On Monday morning, I walked onto the main engineering floor of the corporate headquarters, dressed in a simple, tailored cream blazer.

I called an all-hands meeting in the open atrium.

"For the past two years, your hard work was stolen to fund private yachts and offshore accounts," I told the eight hundred assembled employees. "That era is over."

I announced a comprehensive company-wide restructuring:

Every junior engineer and line worker received an immediate fifteen percent salary increase.

The company’s medical and pension benefits were fully restored and doubled through Northstar’s capital reserves.

A brilliant, honest female software architect named Elena Rodriguez—whom Julian had repeatedly passed over for promotions—was appointed as the new Chief Technology Officer.

The atrium erupted into thunderous applause, cheers, and standing ovations.

For the first time in its history, Aurelia Systems was operating with clean hands, absolute transparency, and genuine leadership.
