Chapter 15 - The Vows Written in Steel, The Child Who Found His Mother, and A Real Forever

One year later, the grand cathedral on Fifth Avenue was filled with hundreds of guests.

There were no whispers of mafia syndicates, no scandals, and no fear.

Only the celebration of Manhattan’s most respected power couple.

Norah walked down the aisle in an exquisite, custom lace gown that accentuated every gorgeous curve of her body with royal majesty.

Her veil flowed twelve feet behind her, carried proudly by Leo, who wore a miniature tailored tuxedo with a bright smile that lit up the entire cathedral.

At the altar stood Luca Castellano, looking at her with a devotion so fierce that even the hardest men in the front pews wiped away tears.

When the priest asked for the vows, Luca looked directly into Norah’s eyes.

“I took you into my home to protect a child,” Luca vowed, his voice steady and deep. “I found the queen of my soul. Every breath I take, every empire I build, belongs to you.”

Norah squeezed his hands, her voice ringing clear through the vaulted arches.

“You gave me a fortress when the world gave me rain. I choose you, Luca, today, tomorrow, and in every lifetime.”

As the priest pronounced them husband and wife, Luca pulled Norah into his arms and kissed her with a passion that brought the entire cathedral to a standing ovation.

Later that evening, at their Hudson Valley home, the lights were soft.

Leo was tucked safely in his bed, fast asleep with his puppy curled at his feet and his superhero toys neatly lined up on the dresser.

Norah and Luca stood on the grand balcony, watching the moonlight dance across the river.

Norah leaned back against her husband’s chest, feeling the steady, powerful rhythm of his heartbeat under her hand.

She had started this journey with one duffel bag, thirty-six dollars, and a broken spirit.

Tonight, she had an unbreakable family, a love that moved mountains, and an empire that no one would ever take away.

Norah Castellano smiled into the quiet night.

She was finally home.
