Chapter 13 - "You Will Address Her As Mrs. Castellano Or Forfeit Every Asset You Own By Dawn"
As the federal agents clamped the cold steel handcuffs around Sebastian’s wrists, Luca stood up from his chair.
His towering presence commanded the room.
Luca walked over until he was standing inches from Sebastian, who was trembling violently in the grip of the agents.
“You tried to starve her,” Luca said, his baritone voice dripping with ice. “You mocked her body. You insulted her dignity. And then you brought violence to my home.”
Sebastian wept, staring at the floor. “Please, Luca... please don't kill me...”
Luca leaned down, his voice audible only to Sebastian.
“I won't kill you, Crane. Death is too quick. You will spend the next eight years in a federal prison cell. And every asset, every property, and every penny remaining in your name has already been purchased by my wife’s foundation for ten cents on the dollar.”
Luca turned toward the news cameras waiting outside the glass doors.
“Take him out through the front lobby,” Luca commanded the agents. “Let the entire world see what happens to a coward.”
As Sebastian was dragged out into the flashing lights of fifty cameras, disgraced and ruined forever, Norah stood by the window looking over the Manhattan skyline.
Luca walked up behind her, wrapping his strong arms around her waist, resting his chin gently against her shoulder.
“It’s over, Norah,” he murmured.

Norah turned in his arms, looking into the eyes of the man who had given her an empire when she had nothing.
“No,” Norah smiled softly, touching his cheek. “It’s just beginning.”
