Chapter 14 - THE RETURN TO RAVENSCLIFFE

The following week, the family returned to the Moretti estate.
The gates swung open smoothly as the armored Mercedes rolled up the gravel driveway.
The house was different now.
The cold, intimidating echoes of the past had been replaced by warmth, sunlight, and the quiet rustle of baby blankets.
Abel met them at the front entrance, holding the double doors wide open, his face creased into a rare, genuine smile.
"Welcome home, Mrs. Moretti. Welcome home, Miss Elena," Abel said, bowing slightly.
Isabella stepped inside, holding their sleeping daughter in her arms, feeling the solid, reassuring weight of Adrien’s hand resting against the small of her back.
The marble table in the foyer—where the forged alliance document had once sat—was now adorned with a simple crystal vase filled with fresh white roses and pale pink ribbons.
No contracts. No threats. No strangers.
