Chapter 10 - Shadows of Betrayal and the Internal Trial

The aftermath of the pier raid sent shockwaves through the criminal underworld. The Bianke family had seized the entire five-million-dollar arms shipment, exposed Don Marcone’s illegal operations to federal authorities through anonymous financial tips orchestrated by Khloe, and neutralized the internal rebellion.

However, the syndicate's Commission—a council of five elder dons—demanded an immediate summit at the historic Grand Ballroom of Chicago.

Enzo arrived with Khloe by his side. The elder dons sat around an immense marble table, their faces weathered and suspicious.

“Enzo Bianke,” the eldest don, Don Moretti, spoke gravely. “You eliminated a capo without a formal trial before this council. You bring an outsider into our sacred inner sanctum. Explain yourself.”

Enzo stepped aside, allowing Khloe to place a thick binder of verified customs records, encrypted bank transfers, and photographic proof directly onto the center of the table.

“This is the trial, Don Moretti,” Khloe announced in flawless, commanding Sicilian. Her voice resonated through the vaulted ceiling with absolute authority. “Salvatore betrayed the Commission by bringing foreign cartels onto American soil without council approval. He forged signatures, pocketed council dividends, and planned to assassinate Don Enzo.”

The elders looked at each other in stunned silence. Not only were the documents undeniable, but Khloe's mastery of ancient diplomatic Sicilian customs was something none of them had seen from a woman in decades.

Don Moretti leaned forward, inspecting the records. “Who is this woman, Enzo?”

“She is my partner,” Enzo said proudly, his hand resting securely over Khloe’s. “And the mind behind our family’s future.”

Don Moretti nodded slowly. “The Bianke family is cleared of all charges. Don Marcone’s territories are hereby ceded to Enzo Bianke.”
