Chapter 5 - Teresa’s Screaming Meltdown Outside The Security Gates Of Lomas De Chapultepec

Right on cue, the sharp, wailing sirens of two municipal police interceptors echoed through the quiet, tree-lined avenues of Lomas de Chapultepec.
The patrol cars screeched to a halt outside the wrought-iron perimeter gates, their red and blue emergency lights flashing across the pristine facade of the neighborhood. Four armed officers from the Commercial Crimes and Domestic Relations Squad stepped out, led by Commander Hector Morales.
Teresa, completely disconnected from reality and blinded by her own delusional entitlement, actually ran toward the police officers, waving her arms wildly.
“Officers! Officers, arrest her!” Teresa screamed, pointing toward my Bentley. “That woman locked me out of my son’s mansion! She stole my son’s car, destroyed his career, and now she’s threatening us with fake financial papers! Arrest her for elder abuse immediately!”
Commander Morales didn't even look at Teresa’s frantic gesturing. He walked straight past her to the driver’s side of the Bentley, where my estate attorney, Licenciado Roberto Silva, stepped out of the front passenger seat.
“Commander Morales,” Licenciado Silva said professionally, handing the commander a certified judicial binder containing notarized property titles, the original prenuptial agreement, the 4K video recording of the kitchen destruction, and the formal criminal complaint for corporate embezzlement.
Commander Morales flipped through the documents, his experienced eyes scanning the official stamps and the digital forensic timestamps.
He turned toward Alejandro and Teresa, his expression turning stone-cold.
“Mrs. Teresa Gomez,” Commander Morales announced in a loud, commanding voice. “You are currently on private property without authorization. We have reviewed the unedited video evidence of last night’s incident. You willfully committed malicious destruction of private property valued in excess of $15,000, uttered verbal threats of unlawful seizure, and attempted unauthorized entry.”
Teresa blinked, her mouth opening and closing like a suffocating fish. “What?! No! I am the mother of the owner!”
“The legal owner of this entire estate is Mariana Hart,” Commander Morales stated flatly. “You have zero legal rights to this residence. If you do not step outside the outer perimeter gates onto the public roadway within thirty seconds, you will be placed under immediate arrest for criminal trespassing and felony property damage.”
Teresa turned to Alejandro, slapping his arm violently in a frenzy of panic. “Alejandro! Do something! Tell this policeman who you are! Hit him! Call your powerful friends!”
“Mom, stop!” Alejandro cried out, holding his throbbing arm, tears streaming down his face. “We don’t have any powerful friends! All my contacts were Mariana’s clients! They won't even answer my calls!”
Carmen and the other two church socialites, who had watched the entire humiliating spectacle from the sidewalk, pulled out their luxury smartphones and began broadcasting the scene live to their church and country club WhatsApp groups.
“Look at Teresa,” Carmen whispered excitedly into her voice note. “She was living in a fantasy world! The house belongs to the wife! Her son is an embezzling fraud getting kicked to the curb!”
Hearing the whispers of her social circle, Teresa completely lost her mind. She lunged toward the iron gates, grabbing the bars and shaking them violently like an animal in a zoo, screaming curses at the top of her lungs:
“Mariana! You barren snake! You will burn in hell for this! My son gave you eight years of his youth! You owe us! You owe the Gomez family everything!”
Commander Morales nodded to two female officers.
Within five seconds, the officers seized Teresa’s arms, forced them behind her peach linen jacket, and clicked heavy steel handcuffs around her wrists.
“Teresa Gomez, you are being detained for disturbing the public peace, criminal harassment, and resisting lawful property clearance,” the officer recited, pushing a sobbing, thrashing Teresa into the back of the police cruiser.
“Alejandro! Save me!” Teresa wailed through the tinted glass of the cruiser. “Alejandro!”
Alejandro stood alone on the pavement, surrounded by his two cardboard boxes, watching his mother get hauled away in the back of a squad car.

The Bentley’s window rolled up silently.
The heavy iron gates slid shut with a definitive, mechanical clang, locking Alejandro Gomez permanently out of the world of luxury he had never earned.
