Chapter 7 - The Humiliating Booking in Boston

By 10:30 a.m., the local news had caught wind of the high-profile arrest.
WBZ-TV and The Boston Globe broadcasted live footage from outside the federal holding facility:
BREAKING NEWS: VANCE CAPITAL CEO ARTHUR VANCE AND SOCIALITE SIENNA BROOKS ARRESTED AT LOGAN AIRPORT IN $45M WIRE FRAUD AND ASSET EMBEZZLEMENT SCHEME.
Inside the intake ward, Arthur stood stripped of his custom-tailored Italian suit, his gold Rolex, and his handmade leather shoes.
He was wearing an ill-fitting, standard-issue bright orange jumpsuit and plastic slip-on shoes. His fingerprints were rolled in black ink, his retina was scanned, and his mugshot was taken beneath the harsh fluorescent bulbs:
ARTHUR WILLIAM VANCE — INMATE #88491-038.
