Chapter 13 - MY MOTHER LEAVES THE ESTATE

My mother and father had lived at the estate part-time for decades.
No legal ownership of my private wing.
But a long-standing residence arrangement.
After the incident, we changed it.
Not revenge.
Safety.
They moved their primary residence to a townhouse they already owned.
Beautiful.
Staff.
Driver.
Security.
No one became homeless.
My mother cried on moving day.
Not because of furniture.
Because she had been “lady of the estate” for thirty-five years.
Another title disappearing.
She asked:
“Will she ever let me come back?”
Meaning my daughter.
“I don’t know.”
