The verdicts were read before a packed courtroom:
Richard Vance was found guilty on all counts of First-Degree Murder, Corporate Treason, and Wire Fraud. He was sentenced to life imprisonment without the possibility of parole, plus forty years at the United States Penitentiary, Florence High, in Colorado.
Victoria Sterling was convicted of Conspiracy to Commit Murder and Grand Larceny. She was sentenced to thirty-five years to life at the Federal Correctional Institution, Danbury, stripped of every marital inheritance claim, and ordered to pay $12 million in criminal restitution.
Julian Sterling was sentenced to eighteen years in federal prison for Grand Larceny, Wire Fraud, and Forgery. His restaurant empire was liquidated by the federal bankruptcy court to repay the creditors and employees he had defrauded.
