Chapter 11 - The Don’s VowThe battle was over in less than two minutes.

Luca’s tactical strike team swept through the parking garage with lethal, overwhelming precision.
The remaining Detroit mercenaries were neutralized before they could detonate a single charge.
When the last gun fell silent, Luca lowered his rifle.
He didn't check the perimeter.
He didn't inspect the bodies.
He walked straight toward our Maybach, his heavy boots echoing against the concrete.
Daniel unlocked the doors.
Luca yanked the rear door open.
His chest heaved, adrenaline rolling off him in waves.
“Sienna? Are you hit?”
“I'm fine, Luca! We're okay!”
Luca’s gaze shifted to me.
He saw the fear in my eyes.
Without a single word, he reached into the car, grabbed my waist, and pulled me out onto the concrete floor.
He crushed me against his chest.
His arms wrapped around me so tightly I could barely breathe.
His heart thudded violently against my ribs.
“You're safe,” he whispered fiercely into my hair. “I have you. You're safe.”
I buried my face into his shoulder, gripping the fabric of his tactical vest.
I wasn't just a maid anymore.
I wasn't just his sister's nurse.
Everyone in the garage saw it.
His men saw it.
Sienna saw it.
The ruthless Don of Chicago was holding me like I was the most precious treasure in the world.
He pulled back slightly, his hands framing my face.
His thumbs wiped away the dust on my cheeks.
“They will never touch you again,” Luca vowed, his voice vibrating with absolute authority. “Tomorrow, the Detroit syndicate burns to the ground.”
He looked down at my lips.
For a second, the entire world vanished.
The smoke, the broken glass, the armed guards.
There was only Luca.
He leaned down and kissed me.
It was fierce, protective, and full of raw passion.
My hands tangled in his dark hair as I kissed him back, completely surrendering to the storm between us.
When he finally pulled away, his forehead rested against mine.
“You belong to me now, Emma Reed.”
May you like
I smiled through my tears.
“I think I belonged to you the night you let me save your sister.”
